The Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, officially the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust Nairobi Nursery, is located inside Nairobi National Park and is accessed through the KWS Mbagathi (Workshop) Gate on Magadi Road. Visitors can watch rescued orphaned elephants during the midday milk feed, mud bath and playtime, while learning about their rescue, rehabilitation and conservation. The public visiting session runs every day except 25 December from 11:00 AM to 12:00 noon and requires advance booking.
